While the charming Sierra mountain town of Truckee, California and its surrounding bevy of beautiful gravel roads is currently covered in snow, Truckee Tahoe Gravel cometh. It will sneak up on you like…a sneaky, sneaky thing. So while you are here on your computer/phone reading this email and dreaming about cycling instead of working, just take that quick next step and register, cause the event is limited to 1,500 participants. The same, longer courses that were new to 2024 were met with resounding success, and are here to stay!
And since you are still here, just go ahead and book your room/cabin/campsite. With all of the money you’ll save on lodging by booking early, and on registration by corralling two or more friends for a Group Buy, you can put those dollars toward supporting Truckee Trails Foundation who connect people and places by bike, making this a great place to ride.
Volunteering. A survey of former TTG volunteers confirms what we already knew in our hearts. Volunteering is guaranteed fun with all-caps, so… FUN, and for some it’s better than getting all sweaty and grimy and sore in the keister from 2-12 hours on a saddle. Join us?
Pedal, play, stay. Come summer, you’ll thank your winter self for signing up.
